The BIT team determines the need for intervention, identification and activation of appropriate resources and responses, ongoing monitoring, and evaluation of responses and outcomes.
The purpose of the Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT team) is to be a resource to members of the University community who have a concern about a student’s behavior and need the opportunity to consult with professionals who deal with behavioral issues on a more frequent basis.
Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to submit an incident report with appropriate concerns or questions. The BIT team is coordinated by the Dean of Students and consist of the several campus partners.
Whenever in doubt about any situation, it is always important to submit an incident report. We encourage you to read more about what types of behaviors must be reported.
