The Dean of Students’ Office is here to serve the students of Mississippi State University. College is a hard and stressful time, we get that, which is why we are here to support you academically and personally whenever a problem may arise.

Center for Academic Excellence

The Center for Academic Excellence works toward the success of all MSU students. The Center promotes student learning and an enriched MSU student experience by providing services, programs, classes, and resources that: • help students make the transition into university life; • aid students’ decision-making, especially during their freshman year; • help students achieve personal and academic progress and growth, targeted toward graduation; and • aid students in time management, study skills, and other habits that will help them be successful

Center for America’s Veterans

The G.V. "Sonny" Montgomery Center for America's Veterans located on the campus of Mississippi State University is a National Leader in providing comprehensive support through a University based Veteran Resource Center.

Colvard Student Union

Stop by the Gaddis Hunt Commons – Food Court for a bite to eat, get your hair cut in our very own salon, or utilize one of our ATMS on the first floor of the Union.

Fraternity & Sorority Life

Mississippi State University is home to 34 fraternity and sorority chapters who MSU promote a balance of academics, leadership, community service/philanthropy, and social events.

Honor Code

The Student Honor Code Office leads the University’s efforts to promote academic integrity and to reduce academic misconduct.

The Office of Student Leadership and Community Engagement (SLCE) at Mississippi State University aspires to educate, enlighten, and empower tomorrow's leaders - everyday citizens who will ultimately transform the social, educational, and economic fabric of communities across our state and nation.

The Off-Campus Student Services Office goal is to provide the university with valuable resources to assist them in transitioning to an off campus environment.

University Police

The MSU Police Department is a full-service agency that is available 24 hours a day, throughout the year. The Department works towards building partnerships with the university community to provide a safer environment with such programs and services as Cops-on-Bikes, Resident Hall Adopt-a-Cop, Operation Identification, R.A.D. Program, Community Police Officers, and Safe Walk.
